Description
The image shows an open notebook with two pages visible. On the left page, a vibrant photograph of a suburban street scene during autumn is featured. The photograph, centrally placed, displays trees with bright red, orange, and yellow leaves, lining a quiet street with a layer of fallen leaves on the ground. The right page contains cursive handwritten text in black ink on a cream-colored page. The pages have artistic decorative elements, such as large, abstract strokes in shades of beige and black. The notebook appears slightly aged with visible page thickness and a textured paper surface.

It was unlike any experience of seeing a relative I resembled my mom.

I literally felt that it was me standing there. I shared the photo with friends, and put her face in my body using Photoshop. It is terrific.

What does this mean? Who knows? My background is German and Swiss, but does blood background matter? Just an improbable coincidence? Maybe. But it was the feeling. Of. Recognition. A genuine experience of Recognition.
