Description
The image displays an open book with two visible pages. The left page has a collage consisting of a photograph of a person in an ornate gown with a tall, pointed headdress. The backdrop of the collage has textured paper in various shades of cream and beige, adding a layered effect. Below the collage, there is another fragment of an image showing a dark, unclear object. The right page contains handwritten text in a cursive style on a cream background. The handwriting appears in black ink, occupying most of the page with slight variations in letter size and slant.

Last night, Kelly and I watched the new Ken Burns documentary series on Country Music. Some of the folks was on the Carter family, and Jimmie Rodgers, who was a superstar and pioneer of American music. He lived to his mid 30s, with T.B., and proclaimed his desire to die with his boots on, not in a hospital, like the many many Americans who suffered from T.B. Jimmie Rodgers raised the baby elephants, and side-lined his pain and disease in order to keep creating.
