Family was very present for me. My parents, grandparents, maternal aunts and uncles. Dwelling in childhood memories. Ghost busting at 64. Revisionist history or extending love and forgiveness? Four lingering ghosts waiting. For me? My first pet - Pudgie, the dog. A beloved gift given and taken away. A ray of light extinguished. Puzzling over a grandmother’s life and my mother’s relatiohship with her Mom. They worked so hard. Me - a treacherous, treasonous child to my grandmother.
